The law aimed to <strong data-start=\"412\" data-end=\"473\">align national legislation with European Union directives<\/strong> in the field of energy and to <strong data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"546\">reduce energy consumption in buildings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"552\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"587\">\ud83c\udfaf <strong data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"587\">Purpose and Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"606\">The law aimed to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"923\">\n<li data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"680\">\n<p data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"680\">Establish <strong data-start=\"620\" data-end=\"663\">minimum energy performance requirements<\/strong> for buildings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"765\">\n<p data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"765\">Implement a <strong data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"726\">methodology for calculating<\/strong> the energy performance of buildings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"818\">\n<p data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"818\"><strong data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"779\">Certify<\/strong> the energy performance of buildings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"872\">\n<p data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"872\">Inspect <strong data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"869\">heating and air conditioning systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"923\">\n<p data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"923\">Promote <strong data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"922\">nearly zero-energy buildings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"928\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"962\">\ud83e\uddfe <strong data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"962\">Secondary Legislation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1039\">To support its implementation, several regulations were adopted, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1250\">\n<li data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1161\">\n<p data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1161\"><strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1067\">Regulation No. 02\/18<\/strong> on the National Methodology for Calculating the Integrated Energy Performance of Buildings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1250\">\n<p data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1250\"><strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1188\">Regulation No. 04\/18<\/strong> on the Minimum Energy Performance Requirements for Buildings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1255\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1298\">\ud83d\udd01 <strong data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1298\">Replacement by New Legislation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1628\">On <strong data-start=\"1303\" data-end=\"1319\">12 June 2024<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1380\">Law No. 08\/L-242 on the Energy Performance of Buildings<\/strong> entered into force, <strong data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1431\">repealing Law No. 05\/L-101<\/strong>.
